Activity 1: We are Word Collectors!
Directions: Go on a “word scavenger hunt” to discover new and exciting words at home! During the week, listen, read, and look for new or juicy words. A juicy word might jump out as a special word. Maybe the word sounds funny or is fun to say.
Collect words like Jerome. Write down new and exciting words. What is one word that describes YOU? Why? Make sure to add your favorite word or words to your list!
